Kabuliwala By Rabindranath Tagore কাবুলিওয়ালা

“Kabuliwala” is a short story by Rabindranath Tagore, the esteemed poet, novelist, and Nobel laureate in Literature. Set in Calcutta (now Kolkata), the story centers around the relationship between a young girl named Mini and a Kabuliwala, or a fruit-seller from Kabul, Afghanistan.

The Kabuliwala, named Rahmat, forms a bond with Mini and her family while selling his wares on the streets of Calcutta. Despite the language barrier and cultural differences, Rahmat and Mini share a special connection, as Rahmat reminds Mini of her own father who is far away.
